The existing Brunswick Elementary School was built in 1952 and with the residential growth in Frederick County became one of the most overcrowded elementary schools in the area.
Onyx provided structural engineering services for this new elementary school which will replace the existing building onsite. Targeting LEED Silver certification, the new 95,425-square-foot building will have capacity for 725 students. The project is expected to be completed in 2023 in time for the fall term.
